Our long-awaited hand-carved sign is now proudly displayed in front of the Inn, where it beautifully bids "Welcome" to our guests! This prominent piece of artistry was custom crafted by Merle Gardner (Lynn’s father, pictured on the right side of our beautiful new sign), who has been developing his carving skills since 1985. The project took 5 months to complete as it was carved entirely by hand using no power tools what-so-ever. Merle continues to create many hand-carved projects (including custom-made violins) at his home in Chilliwack, B.C. Canada.

Chuck (pictured on the left of the sign), the designer of our fine website and "spare time" builder of custom furniture, was commissioned to do the final sanding, staining, and finishing of the sign.

 We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Dad and Chuck for their considerable time and talents. It's your turn to "Take a Trip to Tuscany" without the long expensive plane ride! Yes, for two years now our guests have been enjoying Colorado fruits of the vine in our awesome wine room! This stunning addition to our picturesque home has already played host to wine tasting events, meetings, and general guest socializing. This room grew out of the love for fine wines that both Paul and Lynn share. It's also a great excuse to pamper and entertain our guests...something any previous guest will tell you is our specialty.
